Ignorance is Bliss

Milking It

As if the shameless political pandering Tom Delay engaged in with the Terri Shiavo case wasn't despicable enough.....the Republican House leader apparently will continue to politicize a person's death.  It seems that the novel concept of an independent judicial system has no place in DeLay's version of America.  Consider the following quote:

"We promised the Schindler family that we will not let Terri die in vain," Mr DeLay said.

"We will look at an arrogant, out-of-control, unaccountable judiciary that thumbed their nose at Congress and the president."

Keep your eye on the ball here people.....these out-of-control, unaccountable wack job Republicans are trying to change the way our country operates.  No matter what your political slant is, the greatness of our country resides in its core principles. Wave the flag all you like, but true patriotism fights this dumbness with everything it has.
