In one of the most compelling speeches of recent memory, Bill Moyers lets loose on the increasingly complicated relationship between politicians and the media.  Often referred to as "The conscience of American journalism", Moyers is no partisan hack.  He is consistently one of the most reasoned and levelheaded journalists in the business, and his analysis here is as disturbing as it is right on the money.  It's long.....read it anyway.

Share the Love: Stina Nordenstam

Sweden's Stina Nordenstam has somehow managed to fly beneath the radar for much of her 13 year career, but last year's "The World Is Saved" may finally bring her talents to a larger audience.  The record is a bounty of dark, ethereal pop, with subtle jazz-tinged horns providing a bed for Nordenstam's stunning vocals.  The diversity of the album makes it impossible to label, but listening to standout tracks  "Butterfly", and "On Falling" should give you a pretty good cross section of her work.
